April N. Richardson Esq. is a Licensed Attorney in Maryland whose legal practice involves real estate and business law. She received her B.A. in English and Political Science from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (HBCU), received her Juris Doctorate from The George Washington University Law School and is currently enrolled in the Master’s in Real Estate program at Georgetown University.
Through her work, Ms. Richardson has dedicated herself to solving the mortgage and foreclosure crisis. In 2007, she sat on the Governor’s Task Force for Homeownership Preservation and has worked with numerous homeowners who have fallen prey to fraudsters and into foreclosure. In addition, she has continued to hone her legal skills by working at one of Maryland’s largest foreclosure firms. As a result of this experience, she understands the best and most effective ways in which to assist homeowners with their foreclosure, mortgage, or real estate problem. To add to Ms. Richardson’s resume, she has practiced as a real estate attorney and title agent, has advised mortgage brokers and investors, and has worked for creditors and debtors alike.
Aside from Ms. Richardson’s legal practice, she serves as the Founder and Executive Director of GIRLS Talk Heart-to-Heart, a non-profit project for high school girls, and she serves as legal counsel to the Anne Arundel County Black Chamber of Commerce where she was the first woman, and the youngest member, to serve in this capacity.
